Mark tells a frank and stark story of his life, of the rejection of “a violent man, possessed by evil spirits, causing chaos in the community,” and he does not shirk away from sharing the details of the darkest moments of his life. It gives such valuable insight into the mind of a troubled young man. It is compelling, and it is so sad to see a life being destroyed by the belief that he was unworthy, unloved, and having no hope for his future. This is not, however, a story about glorifying in the work of the devil in his life, but of the overwhelming, amazing transformation by a loving Heavenly Father, God. We have known Mark only a few years, totally transformed from the man portrayed in this book, where he displays no evidence of his past life except his tattoos!
